UP to 1000 young people will welcome in the school holidays at a dance party in Hoppers Crossing this Friday night.
The event for locals aged 14-17 has become so popular it has been moved to the Wyndham Leisure and Events Centre.
The dance party, called Friday Night Underage, is being put on by Wyndham Council’s youth services staff.
The council said it had held dance parties for the past 12 years, mainly at Hoppers Crossing’s Youth Resource Centre.
Council chief executive Kerry Thompson said the new and bigger venue was needed to cater for growing attendances.
Creating a night club is certainly one of the most difficult business ventures in the whole world to do. Not solely is the night club business among the most challenging businesses to break into but you additionally have to deal with all of the competition and the truth that there are a lot of various upscale or even normal size clubs on the market all using fantastic night club décor! I really want to get one of those disco balls that you see at those highschool dances & such.
The ones with the holes & the lights come out different colors...

If you can't find one to buy, it shouldn't be hard to make one.
Get a hard plastic ball (you can paint it silver) and drill holes all over it, then feed a string of indoor Christmas lights into, poking one light out of each hole.
For example, if I saw a disco ball for sale online, and underneath it, it said it measured 20 inches, what does that mean? 20 inches in width? Heigh? Length? Thanks!

Things I couldn't do before
Just a slightly long exposure. The big center ball was spinning slowly, but the rest were not. Probably just as well that I couldn't get any longer exposure than I did, because I didn't have a tripod anyway. I was just leaning against the window.
