The three Stratford alumna are baking up a storm with Icing, their gourmet cupcake business, and becoming closer as friends in the process.

Going their separate ways after graduation in 1985, the high school buddies reconnected last year while serving on their high school class’s 25th reunion planning committee.

The three discovered they had an interest in baking — and cupcakes — and thought they’d give a business a try. They had no idea how such a business might be received.
