But to get things done in a reasonable amount of time meant employing a filmmaking trick -- aside from the scheduling nightmare.

Standing at a junction between autumn and winter, Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. Halloween is often considered to be the day that the dead return to earth. Carved pumpkins were kept on doorsteps or windows to ward off the evil spirits.
With the end of the religious symbolism another new tradition was born. Celtics believed in dressing up in scary attire to ward off evil spirits. Costumes and trick or treating later became a fun event for children and adults alike. Children dress up in scary costumes and go from home to home to ask for treats. The tradition started in the early 1900′s when street kids went begging for food items in exchange for songs they sang. Over time it became popular to include everyone who wanted to take part in the revelry of Halloween.
